Consent and Release of Liability
Parents or guardians who enroll in classes/programs offered by Lyrical Children Inc. (included but not limited to Music Together (R) Classes, Birthday Parties, Trial Demo Classes, Make Up Classes, Sing- A- Longs, Outdoor Classes) understand that such activities have inherent risks. Parents or guardians assume all risk of injury arising from such activity. Accordingly parents or guardians release, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Lyrical Children Inc., its employees, representatives and class locations from any liability arising from any accident, injury and illness as a result of participation in these activities. This includes risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19 when participating at in-person indoor/outdoor classes (including demos). There is an additional understanding/acknowledgement that use of recreation or playground facilities in any location before or after class is not associated with the Music Together Class/Lyrical Children Inc. Thank you.
Acceptance and Adherence to State and Local Health Guidelines Per COVID 19:
Lyrical Children Inc. closely monitors the evolving situation with COVID-19. If registering for an Outdoor In-Person Class (or Indoor when they return), families agree to accept and abide by State and Local health guidelines. This includes (and is not limited to) wearing protective masks for individuals 2 and older, maintaining social distancing from other families during class, and the understanding that classes may need to resume to Zoom format if more restrictive orders are reinstated (in which case refunds are not available). Due to restricted class space, in some cases only one adult per family may be able to attend. In ALL In-Person classes ONLY registered children may attend (i.e. no visitors or unregistered siblings at this point). Please refer to your welcome letter regarding items to bring to class to maintain a No-Contact Enviroment.
PLEASE NOTE - ALL In-Person families will be REQUIRED to submit a COVID-19 Attestation Form when arriving at class each week.
NOTE: If you, anyone in your family or anyone you have been in close contact has been diagnosed with coronavirus symptoms after attending an IN-PERSON CLASS, you are asked to report that immediately to our office by text or email.
Make-up Classes
If you miss your regularly scheduled Music Together ONLINE class for any reason, you may schedule a make-up class. Make-ups are unlimited ONLINE during the semester you are registered in, on a space-available basis. They must be taken during the current semester and cannot be "carried over." You may schedule your make-up as soon as you know you are going to miss a class. We often see an end-of-semester rush, so try to schedule your make-ups as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Bonus Classes will be offered occasionally.
At this time - In-Person Class families Can ONLY do Make-ups ONLINE. Also if Outdoor Classes have Inclement weather - the class WILL be HELD ONLINE and not be rescheduled.
To schedule a make-up class, use our online Make-Up Scheduler. You may search for a class by time, day, or location, and the scheduler will display the available options. If a given class is not displayed as an option for a make-up, it means all make-up spots for that class have been assigned; please schedule your make-up for a different class or check back later to see if a spot becomes available. If you know you will not be attending a previously scheduled make-up class, please cancel it so the spot becomes available for another family.
Photo Release
From time to time photos may be taken during class and used only for the purposes of promoting Lyrical Children's Music Together classes on our website, fliers and/or business Facebook page. By agreeing to these terms you agree to have you and/or your child's photo taken and used for such purposes. You may opt out of this at any time by notifying Marie at admin@lyricalchildren.com.
Siblings and Other Guests
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome to attend ONLINE classes at any timeāno need to ask. Whole family music-making at home is extremely valuable to your child's music development, and attending class occasionally helps family members feel more comfortable joining in. Visitation spots are ONLY available ONLINE at this time.
Health Policy
The health of all participants is important to us, so we are taking measures to ensure limiting exposure to germs. To maintain a No-Contact environment at our In-Person classes - ALL FAMILIES will bring their OWN Blanket and OWN Instruments in a BAG. We do have sanitized, gently used instruments available for purchase - INFO in your Confirmation Email. Masks are required for everyone over 2 yrs old. Upon arriving you will submit your Daily Attestation form and have a no-touch temperature check. Hand Sanitizer will be provided. Spots will be marked for families to lay their blankets and get comfortable for class. As long as a 12 foot distance or more is maintained you have to option to lower your mask. However for ALL LARGE MOVEMENT activities - Masks are required.
Due to the current health situation - WE DO ASK that children try to REMAIN at your Blanket area. We realize that there will be times you need to redirect them. Please have your mask on and do it in a Musical Way!!
Class Cancellations
Holiday closures will be noted on the calendar included in your set of materials. Most Holidays - we DO hold class. Classes may be cancelled due to teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. You will be notified by text if your class is cancelled. The class cancellation may also be emailed and posted on our Facebook account. Cancelled classes will be made up at the end of the session or during vacation weeks.
Text Communication
You must provide your cell phone number when registering. It is needed for the class text
notification system. We find this is the
most reliable way to communicate important information regarding the class you
are enrolled in.
Class Times / Teacher
We try very hard to keep to the class schedule posted, however it is possible that the times of classes may be adjusted slightly to accommodate either low enrollment or expansion of full classes. There are rare instances where the teacher of a class may change due to sickness, absence or unforeseen circumstances.
Music Together Refunds and Credits
When registering for Music Together Classes (both MT Online or In Person) you are required to check the box that confirms agreement with our policies and terms:
Full payment, including a nonrefundable registration fee, is due at the time of registration. Tuition refunds will only be available if you request to drop out of the class before the first day of class of the semester.
NOTE: In the event of natural disaster, inclement weather, or community crisis requiring the cancellation of our live classes - class will be held ONLINE instead. During the current COVID19 crisis we are UNABLE to offer additional classes or semester extensions. We will not offer refunds for classes that are cancelled for reasons beyond our control. All makeups for missed classes are ONLINE ONLY
No tuition refunds are given for class withdrawals after the first class. If you withdraw after the first class you may be issued a partial credit towards tuition for a future semester. The amount of this credit will based on several things - number classes remaining in the semester / your receipt of the Music Together materials. Since the Music Together materials are non-returnable and non-refundable that cost will not be included in the credit. All refunds are subject to a $20 processing fee.
We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen. However, please note that non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal from class or credit given. We are not able to offer tuition credits for classes unattended unless an arrangement has been made in advance with the director.
We encourage you to make use of our Unlimited makeup policy for missed class during the semester that you are enrolled in. NOTE - makeups are to be used during the semester you are enrolled in and ARE NOT transferable to a future semester.
We reserve the right to modify or change our terms of service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any 3rd party for modifications, price change, suspension or discontinuation of service.
